Why won't my Volkswagen Tiguan's tire pressure warning light reset?

A customer's 2021 Tiguan kept showing a tire-pressure warning after tire service. ODIS diagnostics showed sensor communication errors. We completed the Volkswagen-specific sensor relearn and registration, then verified the readings after recalibration.
